Back to the pool I go. I always try to remind myself that swimming is one of those sports which will kick you in the face if you don't maintain your condition, but it never actually sinks in until I feel like I'm dieing after 2 laps.
Needless to say, the first day back in the pool didn't go well. It's hard to go back to something I'm not good at, not saying I'm good at running, but I really suck at swimming.
I think completed about 500m. My knee was fairly unhappy about the entire ordeal, but I have to do something and this is the best thing I can do right now to keep my endurance where it needs to be.
