Day 10

I completely deleted this and had to start over. Day 10, take 2.

Despite the chilly start, today went great. I'm not much of a fan of below 50F temps(thanks for making me stand in it for an hour, Rachel, Sydney and Megan), but once I got moving I had a very nice run.

Looking at the chip results(which I did not partake in because I have a handy watch that will time me for free, when I can actually manage to work it), I would have ended up 46th out of 100+ runners in the female 25-29 age group. I was also 5 minutes faster than the average female finishing time of 37 min, so I was very happy with that.

This was a personal best time for me. It a little victory!

The way they had the last 100 yards set up was very unfriendly if you had any desire to push through and finish strong in the last chunk of the race. A little frustrating, but all-in-all it was a great race.
